sculpture for open gardens
Arts Connect Inc. collaborates with open gardens programs which provide wonderful opportunities for a new enthusiastic audience to engage with our members and their work.
Our most recent event was Gardening on the Edge at the private Maleny Botanic Gardens.
The gardens were transformed into an open air gallery, showcasing the work of some of our leading sculptors: Len & Enid Wilkinson, Anneke Krygsmann, Wayne Markwort, Cathy Lawley, Janna Pameijer, Lindsay Muir and Rod Nash.
Some of the proceeds were distributed to charities by the Maleny Garden Club.

sculpture on the edge 2011
On Saturday and Sunday 11 and 12 June 2011, we had pleasure in presenting our 'Sculpture on the Edge' at Gemelle Court, Witta, in collaboration with the Maleny Garden Club's 'Gardening on the Edge' Open Garden event.
Our member artists for this event were: Len Wilkinson, Janna Pameijer, Anneke Krygsman, Joanne Burnett, Kirsten Cash, Jim Cox, Kaye Gilmour, Danny Madigan, Ken Munsie, Kim Schoenberger, Sandra Stallwood, Carol Weir and Enid Wilkinson.
Our first Sculpture on the Edge brought an exciting dimension to the natural rainforest setting of Lucas Parklands as part of the Maleny Garden Club's 'Blackall Range Arts & Garden Festival' in June 2010.
This was enthusiastically received by all visitors to the garden and led to an invitation to participate in the October 2010 Australian Open Garden's event at the historic Maleny homestead 'Beaufort'.
